Processing technology of low pressure casting of aluminum alloy wheel rim


The technical standards for low-pressure casting of aluminum alloy wheels include pre-stressed tensioning, filling, charging, motor rated power, grinding tool heating temperature, pouring temperature and grinding tool coating.

(1) Preload and preload rate

The pre-working pressure is the working pressure required when the metal surface is raised to the water gate. (2) Filling working pressure and filling rate

Filling working pressure is the working pressure required to fill the metal material liquid to the top of the casting. In the filling process, the rising rate of the working pressure of the metal surface is the filling rate.

(3) Working pressure and working pressure increase rate

The metal material liquid fills the bone cavity, and then the working pressure is raised again to make the forged crystal condense under a certain working pressure. The working pressure is called the crystal working pressure. The higher the crystal body pressure, the higher the actual effect of folding, and the denser the final forging structure. However, it is impossible to improve the quality of castings according to the working pressure of the crystals of the castings.

(4) Holding time

The working pressure of the cavity is raised to the working pressure of the crystal and maintained for a period of time under the working pressure of the crystal. The time required until the casting is completely condensed is called the maintenance time. If the storage period is insufficient, the casting is not easy to completely dry out, and all or part of the metal material liquid in the casting will flow to the wholesale, resulting in empty castings: if the holding time is too long, the castings will last too long. Not only will it reduce the yield of the processing technology, but it will also cause the castings to be frozen (blocking pouring), so that the castings cannot be selected for maintenance time.

(5) Forging temperature and pouring temperature

Low-pressure casting of aluminum alloy profile wheels for trolleys has certain regulations on the operating temperature of metal materials. The operating temperature of metal materials is generally controlled at 350500℃, and reaches 400520℃ when casting thick and complicated parts.

(6) Architectural coatings
